You'll never meet a more caring or hands-on owner than Akshay Talwar.  Professor Talwar is the President of Medical Homes of RI, Inc including both Briarcliffe Gardens A New Concept Alzheimer's Assisted Living and Briarcliffe Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation.  

His academic background includes Masters Degrees from Syracuse University and the State University of New York. He holds a Graduate Degree in Accounting from Syracuse University, a Law Degree from Fordham University and a Graduate Law Degree from New York University.

Professional affiliations include being an active Member of the Board of Directors of the Alzheimer's Association Rhode Island Chapter and a Member of the Board of Directors of the Rhode Island Health Care Association as well as a Member of the American College of Health Care Administrators. Professor Talwar is involved in every aspect of both Briarcliffe Manor and Briarcliffe Gardens and is very proud of Briarcliffe's excellent reputation in the community.
